Legal Document Assistant in Contra Costa County & Tri-Valley
Gale Ranch Notary prepares documents only at your direction. A Legal Document Assistant is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice.
What a California LDA may do
A Legal Document Assistant is registered and bonded under California law. The office is in Pleasanton. Document preparation is available for clients in Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley, including San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Danville, and Walnut Creek.
You decide which documents to prepare and you supply the facts. The LDA completes those documents from your instructions, under a written contract. The LDA does not choose a legal strategy for you.
Attorney disclaimer
A Legal Document Assistant is not a lawyer. An LDA cannot give legal advice, represent you in court, tell you which documents you should use, or explain your legal rights. Only a licensed California attorney can do that.
If you need advice about a contract, a court case, immigration strategy, or which estate document fits your situation, consult an attorney before any documents are prepared.
Document preparation and notarization are separate
Preparing a form and notarizing a signature are different services. Loan signings stay on the loan signing page. Identity verification and notarial certificates are covered under document notarization.
Wills, trusts, and powers of attorney are prepared through Gale Ranch Will & Trust, operated by the same notary.
